FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01How do you grade condition and disclose flaws?
We apply strict, consistent grading standards and disclose any flaws clearly and conservatively. Our goal is alignment between expectation and reality, so what you see is exactly what arrives
02Where do your knives come from?
Our knives come from private collections and direct from custom knife makers, not anonymous bulk channels with unknown origins. Provenance helps protect condition, value, and buyer confidence.
03Are the knives you sell actually in hand?
Yes. Every knife on the WBKC website is physically in hand, inspected, and verified before listing. We do not sell consignment or third-party inventory.
04What types of knives do you review or accept when you buy a knife collection?
We focus on collector-grade knives, including custom, limited-run, and high-value production pieces. Condition and market relevance matter. We do not buy traditional slipjoints from knife brands such as Case and Boker.
05How do I know that Iโm getting a fair price when I sell a knife collection to We Buy Knife Collections?
Fair pricing comes from real market awareness. Our offers are based on condition, configuration, provenance, and current collector demand. We rely on other collectors and leverage various paid technologies for current and historical retail comparisons. We provide a lump sum payment to you, and assume all risk of re-homing your collection.
06If I sell a collection to We Buy Knife Collections is the process confidential and discreet?
Absolutely. All individual or estate collections we purchase are handled with discretion and privacy. We provide optional confidentiality agreements if you donโt want to disclose you were the seller of the pieces.
