This CKF Veksha One-Off is a pre-owned collector-grade folding knife designed by Anton Malyshev and individually customized by Stas Bondarenko. Its original Certificate of Authenticity is dated February 2018 and identifies the knife as a One-Off customization.
This example features a hand-rubbed Böhler M390 clip-point blade, a bronze-toned anodized titanium frame, and fitted titanium inlays with intricate milling and vivid anodized colors. Blue, violet, rose, and bronze tones shift across the patterned surfaces as the handle moves under changing light.
Anton Malyshev based the Veksha design on the classic Soviet Belka folding knife. The elongated nail nick, sweeping handle, oversized circular pivot, and traditional two-handed opening method preserve that influence. However, modern materials and refined CKF construction transform the concept into a distinctive premium folder.
CKF Veksha One-Off by Stas Bondarenko
Stas Bondarenko’s custom handle treatment gives this Veksha its individual identity. The bronze-toned titanium frame surrounds full-length milled and anodized inlays with an organic, flowing pattern. Their deeply contrasting lines create substantial visual texture without disrupting the clean profile of Malyshev’s original design.
Concentric machining surrounds the large pivot on both sides of the handle. This circular treatment visually anchors the knife and balances the broad clip-point blade.
A bead-blasted titanium pocket clip follows the curvature of the handle. It is reversible for right- or left-side tip-up carry. At the rear, a titanium backspacer adds structural support and incorporates a discreet lanyard opening.
Hand-Rubbed Böhler M390 Blade
The approximately 3.625-inch Böhler M390 blade has a long clip-point profile and a carefully executed hand-rubbed satin finish. Fine directional lines run across the blade while clean grind transitions emphasize its broad geometry.
Böhler M390 MICROCLEAN is a powder-metallurgy stainless steel known for very high wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, high polishability, and excellent micro-cleanliness. Those characteristics make it especially appropriate for a premium collector knife with an extensive satin finish.
Liner Lock and Double-Row Bearing System
This original Veksha configuration uses a liner-lock mechanism rather than the frame lock found on the later Veksha HD. The internal lock allows the custom inlays to cover most of the handle while maintaining secure blade engagement.
A double-row ball-bearing pivot system supports the blade during opening and closing. The result combines traditional nail-nick deployment with the smoother mechanical action associated with modern Custom Knife Factory folders.
The knife measures approximately 8.50 inches overall and 4.875 inches closed. At approximately 4.6 ounces, it has a substantial collector-grade presence without becoming excessively heavy for its size.
Condition, Documentation, and Accessories
This knife is pre-owned and remains in excellent condition. The set includes the original Custom Knife Factory tri-color nylon zippered pouch, polishing cloth, February 2018 One-Off Certificate of Authenticity, spare bearings, additional hardware, and the original bronze-finished pocket clip.
The documentation names Stas Bondarenko as the customizer and identifies the model as the Veksha. Together with the original pouch and accompanying components, the COA adds meaningful provenance to this individually finished CKF folder.
